I am an information systems technician for the Coast Guard and we use these phones exclusively on board. If it can survive being underway in the Bering sea then it can survive most anything you can throw at it. They are durable and the simple design allows for easy repairs and swapout. I highly recommend this model from Cortelco/Avaya.
