With this InstallCard a professional Mobile
Electronics installer will install an aftermarket amplifier or equalizer
including wiring it to an existing car stereo system. The installer will mount
the unit while wiring power, ground, trigger, speakers and the input from the
existing radio. An amplifier installation kit will be required and is not
included with this card. Some vehicles may require additional labor due to the
complexity of the vehicle and the access to the speaker wires.
The list of items below are a few instances when it will require addition labor or parts to be paid directly to the installer. Always ask your installer before the installation if there is going to be any additional charges.
Some vehicle will require additional amplifier bypass harness to rewiring a factory amplifier along with additional labor, for example vehicles that have factory Bose, Infinity or other premium sound system.
If the installer has to remove the radio to wire in the new speakers.
Some factory radios do not have low level output signals need to plug into an amplifier and a Hi-Low adapter maybe required.
