Take your personal safety seriously with the powerful Mace Brand Variable Focus Stun Gun. Many times, the visual and auditory effects of operating the stun gun are an effective deterrent. Depressing the stun button as a warning might be all you need to keep the would-be assailant from approaching. But, if it must be used, a shock of 1 second or less will cause pain and minor muscle contractions. 1 to 2 seconds will cause spasms and a dazed mental state. 3 to 5 seconds will cause loss of balance and muscle control. Do not continue to stun an assailant once you are able to escape to safety. The Variable Focus Stun Gun also is a multi-mode flashlight. You can adjust the beam focus and operate it in high, low, and strobe modes.
