NEWMAR 122416 Converter, Step-Up, 12 to 24 VDC, 16A

Step-up converter, MFG# 12-24-16, produces 24 VDC from a 12 VDC source, to power 24 VDC electronic equipment when a 24 VDC battery is not installed. 16 Amp capacity. Non-isolated (shares common ground). 10-15V in, 27.2V out.

These "UP" converters produce 24 volts from 12 volt systems and are ideal for managing dual voltage applications on marine vessels without having to install a 24 volt battery and dedicated charging system.

In the Standard, Non-Isolated Series the 12V input and 24V output share a common negative ground and are ideal when installing certain electronics that operate better on 24 volts when a robust 12 volt system exists.
