TAILGATE LOCK DETAILS & FEATURES: The Toyota Tacoma Power Tailgate Lock (PL8547TAC) fits 2016 - 2023 models. This new heavy duty power lock is replacing PL8535. It automatically locks the tailgate when power doors are locked and mounts inside the tailgate to ensure it is hidden from sight.
PLUG & PLAY HARDNESS SYSTEM: Plugs directly into the OEM wire harness for easy installation. Heat-resistant fabric tape covers the wires. The OEM style connectors assist to reduce the number of wire-to-wire connections.
