Website Errors

Prices, images and specifications are subject to change without notice. We do our best to be accurate, but occasionally mistakes may occur. The Twister Group is not responsible for typographical errors, incorrect images, product descriptions and specifications. It is customer's responsibility to verify all product information and warranty with manufacturer. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, The Twister Group shall have the right to cancel any orders placed.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. The Twister Group reserves the right to either accept or decline your order for any reason. The Twister Group reserves the right to supply less than the quantity of any item ordered.

It is customer's responsibility to verify accuracy and completeness of an order by reviewing order confirmation email. The Twister Group is not responsible for non-receipt of communication emails due to incorrectly entered email address, spam block or any other email failures. Order can be changed or cancelled per customer's request only if the status is pending or backordered.

All orders are subject to payment approval and billing/shipping address verification.

Customer is responsible for paying freight charges both ways and 20% restocking fee caused by refused shipment, unclaimed goods, shipments returned by carrier due to natural disaster, incorrect address, unavailability of recipient to sign for package and any other reasons out of The Twister Group control. Shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount in case of return or refusal of order shipped with free ground shipping promotion. Orders returned by military mail (APO/FPO addresses) are subject to 20% restocking fee for any reason of return: military postal service doesn't provide any explanation of return.

International customers (including Canadians) might be required to pay duties, taxes and/or brokerage fee upon product arrival .

International orders are accepted at our discretion. The billing and shipping addresses must be the same and are verifiable with the credit card issuing bank. For international customers (except Canadians) order confirmation email will list all the required documentation.

All international orders (except Canadians) and orders shipped to military (APO/FPO) addresses and US protectorates (PW, MH, GU, FM, MP, VI, AS) are at customer's own risk. Products are shipped via USPS, which doesn't guarantee the delivery time. If shipment is not received, we'll file a claim, but it may take up to 6 months to receive a reimbursement. We insure packages for a full value of an order up to the maximum amount allowed by postal regulations of the destination country. If goods herein are being purchased for purposes of export, it is the Customer's responsibility to obtain from the federal government certain export documentation before shipping to a foreign country. If a parcel is refused by customs 20% restocking fee and freight charges both ways will be deducted from refund amount.

Payment Methods

We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover, American Express, Diners Club and JCB cards. Please be sure to provide your complete billing address and telephone number your credit card company has on file for you. Incorrect information as well as shipping address being different from billing may cause a delay in processing your order. Prices and availability are not guaranteed until information is confirmed and your payment is processed. Please read our credit card policy.

We accept payments from PayPal accounts with confirmed addresses only and through Google Checkout. All payments are to be in US currency.

If you wish to make your purchase with a Cashiers Check or Money Order, please print out your order confirmation message, and send it along with your form of payment. Please make sure your total remittance includes any sales tax, and all shipping charges to avoid any delay in processing your order. Some banks charge fees for wire transfer services. Please make sure to include these fees with your payment. The order will be processed only when we receive your payment in full.

Shipping Policy

All credit card orders (48 lower US states, not PO Box or APO) for in-stock products placed by noon CST (US Central Standard Time) on any business day are normally shipped within 1 - 2 business days upon payment approval. All orders received after 12:00 PM CST are considered to be placed on the following business day. We cannot ship on weekends or holidays. If we anticipate any type of delay beyond 1 - 2 business days in shipping your order, we will contact you by e-mail. The Twister Group reserves the right to require signature of delivery. Customer is responsible for any additional fee assessed by the carrier including fee for redelivery attempt due to unavailability of recipient.

The Twister Group cannot be held responsible for mistakes made by the shipping courier. If a claim or tracer needs to be filed, we will assist you in every way possible to retrieve a lost or misdelivered package. A tracer with UPS, FedEx or DHL may take up to 9 business days. USPS tracers may take longer. Orders delayed due to shipping company error cannot be cancelled before a tracer is complete and attempt to redeliver/reship is made.

Estimated Ground shipping is 3 to 10 business days, depending on location being shipped to. If tracking information is available, it will be included in shipping notification email. Tracking number can also be found by accessing Order status page on our Web site. The Twister Group reserves the right to use appropriate shipping method that assures order delivery within specified timeframe. If a shipping method selected by a customer is not available to a destination address, The Twister Group reserves the right to downgrade it to the next available method. If the delivery is delayed beyond the estimated date, we'll file a claim with a carrier to get a refund of extra freight charges paid over ground rate.

It is customer's responsibility to notify us and assist in returning if an extra item was received. The Twister Group reserves the right to bill the recipient for the cost of extra merchandise or submit the amount of losses (plus 50%) for collection if the recipient refused to assist in recovery of goods or simply didn't reply to our inquiries.

The Twister Group must charge sales tax on any orders shipped to addresses within the state of Illinois. Sales tax may also be charged on some orders shipped to other states. Each customer shall be responsible for any taxes required on orders shipped to any other state.

Incorrect shipping addresses

Incorrect shipping addresses (wrong house #, wrong zip, missing apartment/suite #, etc) will incur a $10.00 charge if correction is made after package has shipped. Incorrect addresses may also result in delayed delivery. Please double check your shipping address for accuracy. This fee is charged to us by UPS for address correction and will be billed to the credit card your order was placed with.

Quality Control

We cannot guarantee that all components will function properly when received by our customers since we do not test products. We also cannot guarantee that all components will be completely compatible with existing components that customers may have. We will do our best to make sure that damaged and failed components are replaced in a timely and orderly fashion, but the customer must follow The Twister Group policies. For wrong or missing/incomplete items, shipping damage or other discrepancies customer should report to RMA Department within 48 hours. We will not be responsible for any discrepancy reported beyond 48 hours.

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives with physical damage or shortage:

  • Advise the carrier's representative that there is physical damage (or a shortage) and note the damage (or a shortage) on the airbill (all damage must be stated on the airbill, no damage/shortage claims are accepted AFTER the delivery has been made).
  • Damaged shipments are to be refused if possible. If order is left at the residence notify carrier immediately that you want to refuse the shipment.
  • Do NOT sign the airbill stating that the merchandise was received in Good Condition
  • Retain all shipping materials
  • Notify our Customer Service as soon as possible
  • A representative of the carrier will contact you to make arrangements for viewing and assessing the damages
  • Damage claim will be filed with the carrier. Timeframe for claims resolution vary by shipping company and may take 15 business days or more.
  • Warranty

    All of The Twister Group products shipped to US and Canada are guaranteed against manufacturer defects for 30 days from the date of invoice (except otherwise noted). Refer to Return Policy for warranty claim procedure.

    Panasonic, Intel products as well as software and other products listed as non-returnable must be returned directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

    No warranty for physically damaged items, which have cracks, missing pins, or burn marks. Any items found to be abused, misused, mishandled, modified or altered, damaged by power surges, floods, brownouts, or other natural disasters are not covered by warranty. Warranty sticker and serial numbers must be intact on all merchandise.  Items must be received by The Twister Group RMA Department before the last day of warranty.

    Repaired or replaced RMA items carry the original warranty of the product. If a replacement is not available, The Twister Group reserves the right to repair the products, replace with similar products of equal or greater value or offer upgraded products at a minimum fee if the item has been discontinued from our product line. The Twister Group accepts no liability with respect to any software or data contained in any products or parts sold by or returned to The Twister Group. The Twister Group does not offer cross shipping. A replacement will be shipped via UPS Ground or US Mail within 10-15 business days after the item is received. Express shipping will be at additional cost.

    The Twister Group does not claim to be an authorized reseller of all the products listed on this site. To be an authorized reseller, some manufacturers may require us to abide by manufacturer's minimum advertised prices (MAP). The Twister Group would be unable to provide you with the low cost of the products sold on this site if we were to comply with MAP policies. In some cases manufacturers may decline to honor product warranty. These products may be purchased directly from the manufacturers or from authorized resellers at much higher prices. The Twister Group cannot be responsible for the decision of a manufacturer not to offer or abide by such warranties. Manufacturer's warranties for exported goods may vary or even be null and void for goods exported outside the United States. It is customer's responsibility to verify all product information and warranty with manufacturer.

    Return Policy

    The Twister Group offers a 30-day return policy on selected items based on manufacturer's return policies. International orders (non-US and Canada) are non-returnable.

    All non-defective and defective returns that are found to be non-defective are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for paying freight charges both ways and 20% restocking fee caused by refused shipment, unclaimed goods, shipments returned by carrier due to natural disaster, incorrect address, unavailability of recipient to sign for package and any other reasons out of The Twister Group control. Orders returned by military mail (APO/FPO addresses) are subject to 20% restocking fee for any reason of return: military postal service doesn't provide any explanation of return.

    A defective product will be replaced for the same upon receiving and processing its return. If the product is not in stock, its original price will be credited. If you need a replacement right away, request a credit when filling out RMA form and place a new order after receiving return instructions.

    All items must be returned with all original manufacturer packing, warranty cards, manuals, software, cables and/or other supporting materials and accessories. Items returned for refund must be in sellable condition. We reserve the right to charge up to 50% restocking fee for returns missing anything from original contents or not in original brand new condition.

    The Twister Group reserves the right to refuse issuing return authorization.

    NOT REFUNDABLE ITEMS:

    • Shipping cost (except if the return is a result of our error shipping incorrect model number), wire transfer fees, customs and brokerage costs. Shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount in case of return or refusal of an order with free ground shipping promotion.
    • Any physically damaged or defaced items. Any damage as a result of shipping must be filed with the shipper immediately and prior to any requests for a RMA number.
    • Panasonic, Intel products, 30" and over LCD and plasma television sets as well as opened software and other products listed as non-returnable. Non-defective products with opened clamshell or blister.

    RMA PROCEDURE:

    Contact our RMA Department for a Return Merchandise Authorization and shipping instructions. DO NOT SHIP RETURNS TO OUR CORPORATE ADDRESS, unless you were advised so by our RMA Department. If unauthorized return is received additional shipping cost to redirect it to our warehouse will be debited. Each RMA is good for 14 days from the day your RMA is issued. After 30 days, you must make all returns directly to the manufacturer. 

    All returns must be sent freight pre-paid by UPS, Federal Express, or any other carrier that issues a tracking number to the address provided by RMA Department. Delivery signature must be requested by the shipper. Returning package may be considered received if there is signed proof of delivery. The customer must pay for any desired insurance on the package. The Twister Group is not responsible for any losses or damages in transit. Please remember to put the RMA number on the outside of your package.

    Please allow 2-4 weeks after all goods are received for replacements/refunds to be processed. Refunds will be applied in the same form of payment used for the original purchase. Returns will be credited at the price paid or current selling price, whichever is lower, less any restocking fee.

    Site Use

    Your use of this site and submittal of any purchase indicates your acceptance of the terms and conditions and privacy policy. The Twister Group reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions, do not use this site. The Twister Group makes no representation that materials in this site are appropriate or available for use in other locations, and access to them from territories where their contents are illegal or not authorized. Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. Any claim relating to, and the use of, this site and the materials contained herein is governed by the laws of the state of Illinois without regard to conflict of law rules. 

    The Twister Group shall not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing any of its obligations when such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, without limitations, any act of God, war, strike, riot, fire, flood, earthquake, lock-out, late or non-delivery by suppliers, shortage or unavailability of materials, components or transportation facilities, or act, refusal to act, regulation, order or intervention of any governmental authority. The Twister Group makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to products sold by The Twister Group. Except as expressly stated herein, The Twister Group disclaims all warranties expressed or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold on this site, including but not limited to merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability to The Twister Group arising from any product sold shall be the price of the product ordered. In no event shall The Twister Group be liable for special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to product sold.
